I have been interested in using natural materials for some time now and although
I don't know specifics, the image I had was of something
that could offer good ventilation, is eco-friendly
and is soothing to look at. A building contractor
I hired to build me a new home said they had just
the right material to suit my wishes and so I left
it to them. Since the first coating phase, I visited
the building site many times. I was fascinated by
the beautiful and detailed finishing, and grew excited.
The site after the scaffolding had been removed
was so beautiful that it made me grin from ear to
ear. The beautiful exterior walls were outstanding
and filled me with great satisfaction. I liked the
finishing design for the calming effect it had.
I am also pleased that the walls also seem quite
durable. In short, I am tremendously satisfied with
both the interior and exterior of the home, having
turned out much better than I expected. |

I hardly hear any noise from outside. Compared with new houses in my neighborhood, the materials used in my house are much more solid. I also like their calming color and quality. They are apparently highly heat-resistant as well. |

I do not use an air-conditioner. I have no need of one because the walls keep my house cool in the summer and warm in the winter. It seems that the temperature gap indoors is small. |

My favorite point is that it blends well with the nature. A part of the interior wall (behind a firewood stove) is made with Shirasu-soton-kabe, and it looks very natural. |
